"Rain rain go away, come again another day".
There is something about the rain, that transports me to a weirdly magical place of tea parties, crackling fires and cozy walks, reminiscent of the iconic movie "Singing in the Rain", bundled beneath beautiful umbrellas. I enjoy watching lights dance outside, through the tiny drops collecting on the windows, while I sip a hot drink (usually with a cookie).
I realized though today that while I spend rain days in a vintage dream scene from the past, others prefer to puddle prance, splash dance and squish their way in and out of the deepest puddles they can find. It brought a smile to my face, knowing that either way, through window or in puddle, the rain brings a particular sense with it, to each of us. We anticipate the rain, just as we would a holiday or event - We plan, practice and preeminent outfits, accessories and the ins and outs of our day, around it.
